Advanced education for dog owners

Advanced training is intended for owners who already groom their dogs at home and want to further refine their technique.
During the training:
• you independently bathe and dry your dog
• we go through the entire grooming process with my guidance
• I correct your technique and any mistakes
• we learn more advanced brushing and detangling methods
• we cover the basics of identifying skin and coat problems
• we discuss protection against external and internal parasites
• we adapt the grooming routine to your lifestyle
• I answer all questions that have arisen during previous months of home grooming

The goal is for you to become more confident and independent in maintaining your dog between salon appointments.

How long does the training last?
The training lasts approximately 3 hours, but the duration may vary depending on the breed, coat condition, and work pace. Our goal is not to rush through the content, but to ensure you understand and can independently try everything.

Does the dog come with me?
Yes, the dog comes with you.
We believe that the best learning happens with your own dog because you will apply the same techniques at home later. During the training, we work with your dog and adapt the advice to their coat type, temperament, and needs.

Do I need prior experience?
No.
Basic training is intended for owners with no prior experience. We go through everything step-by-step, from the basics to a proper home grooming routine.

What is covered in Basic training?
In Basic training, we cover the most important topics for maintaining your dog's coat between grooming appointments:
• proper brushing and detangling
• selecting appropriate brushes and combs
• bathing and choosing cosmetics
• proper coat drying
• basics of paw and nail care
• ear inspection and basic care
• prevention of matting and felting
• recommended grooming routine for your dog
• review of the equipment you use at home
The goal is for you to gain confidence in daily grooming and prevent common problems before the next grooming appointment.

What is covered in Advanced training?

How long after Basic training can I take Advanced training?
There is no strict rule.
However, we recommend at least 2 to 3 months between Basic and Advanced training so you have the opportunity to apply what you've learned at home, bathe your dog several times, and gain practical experience. This way, we will have a concrete foundation for further work in Advanced training.

Should I bring my own equipment?
Yes, we recommend bringing the brushes, combs, and other equipment you use at home.
This way, we can assess if it's suitable for your dog and show you how to use it properly.

Should I bring my own hairdryer?
It is not necessary.
All necessary professional space and equipment are provided during the training. If you wish, you can bring your own hairdryer so we can check if it's suitable for home use and show you how to use it best.

Should I bring towels?
No.
Towels and everything needed for work during the training are provided by Coccole.

Will I receive product recommendations for my dog?
Yes.
During the training, you will receive recommendations for tools, cosmetics, and a grooming routine tailored specifically to your dog, their coat type, and lifestyle.

Can I ask questions during the training?
Of course.
Trainings are individual and tailored to you, so we always leave enough time for questions and additional explanations.

Is the training intended for all breeds?
Yes.
We adapt the content to the breed, coat type, and individual needs of each dog.

·        Delivery speed may deviate from the usual during holidays, non-working days, during major sales promotions and other situations where delivery difficulties are possible
